WHY WOVEN WRAPS?

A woven wrap is a versatile, customized baby carrier, providing comfort and strong support for all carrying stages!

Why woven wraps

  • Baby can be carried on your front, hip, and back, each position with different tying variations to suit your comfort and needs.
  • Wrap can be pre-tied like a sling or pouch to be used on one shoulder for quick and easy carries.
  • It can also be tied over both shoulders and around your waist for maximum support and comfort.  In this forward wrap cross carry, baby is wrapped in three layers of fabric - a horitzontal piece, and the left and right piece of the cross or "x", for a secure and supportive fit.  Baby's head can be fully supported by the wrap for newborns or sleeping babes, providing you with two free hands.
  • Parent and child get a customized fit each time for comfort and strong support - it is not a structured carrier with a predetermined shape and size.
  • The woven wraps can be used for carrying newborns.  Woven wraps can also be used to carry larger babies and toddler age children - strength of the woven fabric provides more support than stretchy cotton or gauze wraps.
  • Because they are woven in the jacquard method, these wraps come in intricate patterns which can be seen and used on both sides, with single, dual or multiple colours all in one wrap - to suit every taste.  These wraps are gorgeous!

I have personally tried pouches, unpadded and padded ring slings, mei tais, structured carriers, stretchy wraps, gauze wraps and woven wraps.   Though I still have these other carriers for demonstration purposes, I exclusively use woven wraps because of their comfort, supportiveness, and versatility
